Why Ireland?
Ireland is, without doubt, the friendliest country in the world. It has become a firm favourite among many students wanting to study English overseas. All year round you will see the streets of Ireland, in particular the capital city Dublin, buzzing with students and tourists of all ages from all over the world.
The Schools
There are English language schools all over Ireland, from the buzzing Capital city of Dublin to the rural emerald suburbs of Donegal and Kerry. You can attend for a short term of about a week to anything up to a year or more. You can study general English or specific English (Business, Aviation, Medical, Legal or Engineering).
The Courses
You can choose to study English only or combine your studies with cultural or sporting activities such as horse riding, surfing and/or visits to famous places around Ireland. Courses can also include internationally recognised qualifications and will expertly guide you to what you need to be successful.
The Accommodation
Many schools and colleges can organise accommodation for you. They will mainly organise a home stay with an Irish family or some may have accommodation facilities built into their school grounds or close by. If you stay with an Irish family you will be made most welcome and will be able to experience Irish family life and culture.
There are also many welcoming B&B’s, Youth Hostels, Hotels and rental agencies who will advise you on rental accommodation for longer visits.
The Country
No matter what length of time you want to come to Ireland to study English, please consider adding some extra time to visit some of the magical historical sites all over the island.
